Running a business has always been difficult but it’s fair to say for women in the world of business it’s an even more complex challenge. Following on from International Women’s Day earlier this year in this edition of the magazine we are celebrating the achievements of the women that have broken through those barriers and the glass

ceiling they are often faced with to make an impact in the industries they work in. Celebrating women in business is not just a recognition of individual accomplishments, but a collective acknowledgment of the invaluable contributions women make to the business world. 

One woman that has really made her mark over the years is Kelly Saynor the founder and owner of Renew, a Cheshire based medical aesthetics clinic. She is also the woman behind Medica Forte who she founded with a mission to deliver world-class products, services and training to the medical aesthetics and healthcare industries and to her credit that is exactly what they have done. In recognition of her considerable achievements we are delighted to announce that Kelly Saynor is the latest winner of one of our Influential Women in Business Award for 2025. The award is well deserved and further cements her reputation as an absolute master of her craft. The award will come as no surprise to anybody that has worked with her and in this edition of the magazine we will try to give you an insight into the work that she does and the success that she has enjoyed.

Kelly is an experienced professional who has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the skincare and aesthetics industry that has spanned more than twenty years. Despite her years in the industry she remains very passionate about the work that she does and describes herself as a skin geek. Describing her journey she says, “My journey into aesthetics didn’t start in a glossy clinic, under perfect lighting. It started in the aisles of Superdrug, as a young Black girl with white adoptive parents, flipping through beauty magazines that didn’t feature faces like mine.” 

She is a fully qualified cosmetics nurse who began her medical career at Manchester University where she trained as a nurse specialising in paediatrics and then later moved into cosmetic surgery. Kelly was fascinated by how these techniques help women improve their appearance without dramatically changing the way they look. Kelly went on to train with some of the most well respected and advanced professionals in the industry including the Harley Medical group and the Royal Society of Medicine. This professional background and training has enabled Kelly to understand the importance of best practice and to appreciate that the welfare of the patient is paramount.

She now spends her time running her businesses, Renew Aesthetics, her state-of-the art aesthetics and skin specialists clinic and Medica Forte her award winning aesthetics training provider. Both are based in the leafy idyll of Gawsworth, Cheshire located in a stunning converted barn, so you can be assured of a discreet, luxurious and personalised experience. The fact that Kelly and her businesses are held in such high regard by their clients speaks volumes not only about the service that they provide with such remarkable consistency but also the honest and ethical way in which they operate. Kelly has successfully cultivated a culture where her entire teams share her steadfast determination to maintain the high standards that have become such a trademark.
